This is the start of the year and I have decided to create my own blog.
Ok, so I gave in to the raves of another co-MUA regarding this foundation-concealer and tried it my own. According to my research here are the shades:
This is the start of the year and I have decided to create my own blog.
Ok, so I gave in to the raves of another co-MUA regarding this foundation-concealer and tried it my own. According to my research here are the shades:
130 - Light color, makes pale or dull skin have a rosy effect and look more youthful. Suitable for very fair skin tone. Delicate, especially for bridal make up. For MAC NC 15-20 users. Has pink undertone.
140 - Light in color but slightly deeper than the 130. Suitable for fair skin tone. For MAC NC 25, 30 and 35 users. Has yellow undertone.
141 - Medium color and a natural skin color fit yet has translucent effect. Suitable for fair skin tone as shading. Suitable for stage/studio makeup. Suitable for medium skin tone. For MAC NC 40-42 users. Has pink undertone.
151 - Good coverage for face defects and shading. Suitable for malay skin tone. For MAC NC 45 users. Has yellow undertone.
171 - Green neutralizes any redness on your face, from broken blood vessels, blemishes, irritation etc. It helps inhibit red complexion and effectively covers the red spots left by acne.
Product Description:
Provides great coverage for skin. It's long lasting and you only need to apply a little to get the perfect skin look. For all skin types. Fragrance free. Special to make up artis and professional use.
As I always do, I tried it myself before using them to my clients. So excuse my face, this is just to give you a better picture how the product works.
See those blemishes in my cheeks and pores in my nose?
Before putting my makeup on, I make sure that I moisturize my face. This time I used MAC mineralized moisturizer spray (Will post my review soon).
I used my finger to get cream from the pot. Then put 151 to spot correct those blemishes. Put some under my eyes, forehead and jaw line. Lastly, used 141 to highlight (undereye).
pat.. pat.. pat..pat... and... Tada!!!
I was so amazed by this little pot. (Take note, I only get little amount of cream and the coverage is wonderful!)
I haven't set my face with a powder in the picture below

So this is how my face looked like after 12 hours (No retouch). Still looks presentable.
